ABOUT Rosie

Born in Illinois, Rosie lived in Europe for much of her pre-teen and teen years. This allowed her to view many of the works of the European masters at museums and galleries, including Alexander Calder, Picasso, Renoir, John Constable, and others. She was also influenced by the individualism of the fauvists and by the Canadian Group of Seven’s interpretations of the spirit of place. She now works from her “heart home” in Vermont. Her work is meditative and intuitive, finding an inner peace through the painting process.
